California Health Professional Student Alliance (CaHPSA)

About

CaHPSA aims to cultivate leadership and advocacy skills among health professional students to effect change in the health care system, primarily through grassroots efforts, education, and chapter growth, in support of comprehensive, publicly-financed, privately-delivered guaranteed health care for all Californians.

CaHPSA will not rest until every person within the state of California has access to a health care system that is universal, not for profit, sustainable, affordable, equitable, comprehensive, high-quality and based on human need, rather than one's ability to pay.

We maintain close ties with SNaHP (Students for a National Health Program).

CaHPSA club is a member of the #ProtectOurPatients Coalition at TU, which supports legislation and policies that ensure accessibility, affordability and quality of health care to all Californians, especially vulnerable and marginalized communities.
