History & Physical COM-1 Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
Open to COM-1 at start of Spring Semester. Dress professionally with your white coat, and bring your medical equipment. You will be paired up with another student who has signed up for the same clinic day doing history and physicals. However, please be comfortable with OMM because you may be asked to do that, depending on a patient's chief complaint. Remember to always take blood pressure & BMI.
Spanish Translator Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
Will assists colleagues with spanish translation.
OMM COM-1 Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
Open to COM-1. Must have completed at least one previous shadowing shift and soft tissue labs. Dress professionally with your white coat, and bring your medical equipment. You will be paired up with another student who has signed up for the same clinic day doing OMM. Remember to always take blood pressure & BMI.
Clinic Director Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
As Clinic Director, you will be the person responsible for organizing and maintaining the overall flow of clinic. You will oversee all the students present that day during your shift.
Shadowing COM Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
Observe any of the stations at the clinic.
OMM Fellow Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
The OMM fellows from Touro University volunteer to help the students perform OMM at the clinic.
History & SOAP - COP Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
- Dress professionally with your white coat, name tag and bring your Touro Student ID card
- You will be paired up with another student from either PA or COM program who has signed up for the same clinic day for H&P.
- You will be responsible for taking detailed history (SOAP case), performing MTM as requested and take Blood pressure and Blood Glucose.
Triage Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
Triage responsibilities include obtaining the chief complaint and vitals, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, pain level, height and weight.
OMM COM-2 Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You

Dress professionally with your white coat, and bring your medical equipment. You will be paired up with another student who has signed up for the same clinic day doing history and physicals. MPH Shadow  Not Applicable To You
*The MPH shadowing position is an opportunity for INDEPENDENT MPH students to gain experience at the SRHC. Dual MPH/COM, COP, and PA students will NOT be permitted to sign-up for this position.

*While at the SRFC, the MPH Shadow must obtain verbal permission from 1) the student working the position AND 2) the patient prior to shadowing an encounter.

*MPH students may shadow any of the following position at the SRFC: triage, H&P, and OMM.

*As the MPH Shadow, students are strictly forbidden to have any form of contact or communication with patients. Despite medical knowledge from previous occupation or education (ie. nutritionist, etc), the MPH Shadow is strictly forbidden from advising the patient in anyway. Violation of this rule will result in review by the SRHC Board of Directors and will likely result in the student no longer being able to volunteer at the SRFC.

MPH Case Management Supervisor Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
Supervisor of Case Management volunteers. Open to case management program members only.

Observe at the OMM treatment station. Open to all colleges.
H&P Shadow Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
Observe at the history and physical exam station. Open to all colleges.
Medication Therapy Managment Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
The student will dress professionally and be prepared to get a detailed medication history of the patient. Student will be prepared to do medication counseling and assistance with the patient.
3rd/4th Year OMM Rotation Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You

Early Clinical Experience (ECE) - COM Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
COM students scheduled for ECE through the Primary Care Department on this date must acknowledge their availability here by selecting "Yes" beside the "Are You Available?" heading.
Immunization Provider Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
Open to COP. The Immunization Provider is responsible for providing immunizations and/or assisting with immunization recipient intake at SRFC monthly immunization clinics. Please confirm your availability by selecting "Yes" beside the "Are You Available?" heading.
Over-the-Counter (OTC) Volunteer - COP Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
The OTC Volunteer is responsible for assisting patients at the SRFC weekly clinic with obtaining OTC medications (and non-medications) per the suggestion of the treatment provider. He/she is expected to dress professionally with white-coat.
Front-Desk Not Applicable To YouNot Applicable To You
In this position, you will interact with patients to get them checked in, answer their questions, prepare/file charts, and schedule appointments.
